About Us
LOLO! is a Swiss artist with Ghanaian roots, raised in the multicultural city of Geneva. His music reflects the contrast and complexity of his environment — a mix of emotional intensity, urban grit, and raw honesty. Blending alternative rock with hip-hop, LOLO! creates a sound that is both powerful and deeply personal.
Influenced by bands like Linkin Park and Poshlaya Molly but also by some iconic french bands like Superbus and KYO, he brings the aggression and vulnerability of rock to the mic. At the same time, the hip-hop culture passed down by his older brother gave him the tools to express himself through rhythm, flow, and lyricism.
LOLO!’s music doesn’t fit in a box — it breaks it. Somewhere between rage and reflection, guitars and 808s, he crafts a voice for those navigating pain, identity, and everything in between.
Alongside his solo career, LOLO! is part of the Geneva-based band The Sad Badboys, a group born in the heart of Geneva’s multicultural underground where borders, languages, and cultures collide. With members from diverse backgrounds and influences ranging from hip-hop to R&B, soul, and alternative rock, the band embodies a new kind of sound — hybrid, raw, and deeply global.
Their music reflects the world they come from: a patchwork of stories, struggles, and rhythms forged in a city that’s both international and underground. Geneva’s complex identity — at once diplomatic and chaotic, polished and raw — seeps into their sound and spirit.
Each song is a meeting point between cultures, a clash of styles, and a shared cry for meaning in a fractured world. The band doesn’t just break genre boundaries — they cross cultural ones too, creating music that speaks to outsiders, dreamers, and everyone in between.
The Sad Badboys is not just a band — it’s a voice born from movement, difference, and the noise of the world.
The Sad Badboys is a genre-defying band that blends the raw power of alternative rock with the lyrical depth of hip-hop. Their music dives deep into the wounds of love and the pain of existence, offering a soundtrack for those navigating heartbreak, chaos, and survival.
With their emotionally charged lyrics, the band crafts songs that are both powerful and vulnerable. Their sound moves between rage and fragility, protest and confession — always honest, always human.
Far from clichés, The Sad Badboys transform suffering into sound, and sadness into strength. On stage and in their recordings, they offer more than music: they create a space where every feeling can exist.
This is not about categories. It’s about feeling everything at once.
